this section is mainly reserved to Sagittea expertise in the assessment of transport related impacts on environment as well as on urban sustainability.
Sagittea has strong experience with environmental impact assessments of transport projects and models. It also developed strategies to reduce negative externalities on environment and urban sustainabilty from transport, providing technical advices to competent public administrations.
Our approach to Environment:
Sagittea approach to environmental evaluation is characterised by the synergic use of quantitative (cost-benefit analysis, cost effectiveness analysis, econometric models, ecc.) and qualitative methodology (focus group, interview, benchmarking).

Our projects in environment:
Sagittea consultants collaborated with the European Commission for several programmes (TREMOVE, SPARTACUS, PROPOLIS, START, etc.) dealing with urban and environment sustainability. It has also experience with analysis of urban sustainability, such as pre-feasibility study on the urban logistics platform (new urban distribution platform) for the many Italian municipia. It recently carried out the Master Transport Plan of Valencia (Venezuela). |
